Round table “Importance of Freedoms for Ukraine’s Prosperity” in Chernivtsi

On June 4, Chernivtsi hosted an event in the series “The Importance of Freedoms for Ukraine's Prosperity”, supported by Atlas Network. This event was the next step in the all-Ukrainian dialogue on how freedom of speech, economic freedoms and equality before the law are key factors in the development and prosperity of our country.

Event details

The participants of the event had the opportunity to hear the opinions of people who have proven the need for economic reforms in Ukraine from their own experience:

  • Yaroslav Romanchuk is a world-class economist and one of the authors of Georgia’s economic reforms. He emphasized that economic freedom is the basis for the country’s sustainable economic growth and prosperity.
  • Vyacheslav Pavlov is an entrepreneur who has repeatedly faced excessive inspections and the need to obtain numerous unnecessary permits while building his business. He emphasized the importance of deregulation to simplify business, which will encourage more people to start their own businesses.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this event, as well as Serhii Bostan, Tetiana Dutkevych, and the Department of Social and Economic Development and Strategic Planning for their help in organizing the event!

Together we can build a free, democratic, and prosperous Ukraine!
