The Necessity of Building Personal and Economic Freedom in Ukraine

On Friday, November 8, a significant event dedicated to building economic freedom in Ukraine was held at the “Parus” Business Center, organized by the public movement “Free Nation” with the help of Atlas Network.

Event details

The speaker at the event was our representative in Latvia, Vyacheslav Dombrovskis, former Minister of Economy and former Minister of Education and Science of Latvia, and President of the “Institute for Freedom Studies.” Vyacheslav shared Latvia’s experience, which has undergone a challenging path of market reforms and achieved significant progress. The former minister also emphasized the need for reforms in Ukraine to become the new Singapore or South Korea, as our neighboring aggressor continues to seek our conquest. Our GDP currently stands at only 10% of Russia’s, significantly reducing our chances of victory without external assistance.

Participants discussed the role of economic freedom in Ukraine’s post-war development and how building economic freedom can improve the business environment in our country. There were also discussions among the guests about the changes needed to improve the business climate, reviewing Latvia’s market reforms and their lessons for Ukraine.

We especially want to thank the investment company Advance Finance Alliance — AFA for their invaluable assistance in organizing the event. Their support made this important dialogue possible.

We believe that only through joint efforts can true changes be achieved. Every step on this path is indispensable, and we are glad that so many concerned people have joined us on this journey.

Let’s work together to make our country an example for the whole world. Together, we can build a free and prosperous Ukraine!
