On June 5, as part of the “Free Nation — Free Business” regional tour across Ukraine, the Free Nation civic movement, with the participation of Board members — Vyacheslav Pavlov, Bohdan Vorontsov, and keynote speaker Yaroslav Romanchuk — held an event in Dnipro that brought together veterans, entrepreneurs, experts, civil society representatives, and activists.
The discussion focused on the real state of the Ukrainian economy, business climate, tax system, and the prospects for deep, systemic reforms.
The meeting clearly demonstrated: Ukrainian business is strong, but is forced to operate despite the system, not because of it. People see injustice, privileges for the “connected,” and no clear path for change. This fuels apathy and a loss of trust in the state.
The key conclusion — Ukraine needs freedom.
Freedom for individuals, for business, for ideas. Without it, no reform will bring results. Freedom must become the foundation of a new social contract, a new governance model, a new Ukraine.
