On June 3, members of the Board of the Public Movement “Free Nation,” Bohdan Vorontsov and economist Yaroslav Romanchuk, took part in the discussion “Strategy for the Development of the Kharkiv Region,” dedicated to identifying effective solutions for the region’s recovery and long-term development.
The event brought together representatives of civil society, business, the expert community, and local opinion leaders to discuss the key challenges facing the Kharkiv region amid the ongoing war and the future post-war reconstruction process.
During the discussion, the representatives of Free Nation presented their vision for the region’s future, emphasizing that genuine recovery is impossible without expanding personal, economic, and entrepreneurial freedom. In their view, private initiative, strong property rights, free enterprise, and a competitive economy must serve as the foundation of a new development strategy for the Kharkiv region.
Participants also discussed the importance of creating a favorable environment for investment, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, attracting human capital, and implementing modern approaches to regional governance.
The Public Movement “Free Nation” expresses its gratitude to Free Nation’s Kharkiv Coordinator, Denys Bykasov, for the initiative and invitation to participate in the event, as well as to the Board Kharkiv team for their high level of organization and for providing a valuable platform for open dialogue.
Only through freedom, responsibility, and active citizen participation can a prosperous future be built for the Kharkiv region and for Ukraine as a whole.
