Yesterday, June 27, Free Nation visited the Lviv Entrepreneurs Forum to join a very important initiative.
The event was devoted to drafting an appeal to the President and the Parliament demanding not to adopt draft law 8401, which abolishes the initiatives introduced in March last year to introduce a package of decisions on tax reform that significantly reduced taxes for business.
In addition to the rise in prices in all spheres of life, this draft law will lead to a significant increase in the price of already expensive consumer goods and will hit the most vulnerable segments of the country’s population in a state of war, where unemployment has reached 30% according to various estimates.
The forum was organized at the initiative of our friends and partners from the National Association of Entrepreneurs, namely the head of the association, Rostyslav Psheminsky.
The forum was attended by representatives of the local community and business, including Pavlo Yantsen, chairman of the board of the Free Nation public movement, Viacheslav Pavlov, member of the board of the Free Nation public movement and chairman of the Free Economy public movement, Bohdan Vorontsov, co-founder of the Free Nation public movement, and Maria Barabash, co-founder of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs.
The event resulted in a collective appeal to the parliament, government, and president not to pass draft law 8401 in order to prevent the authorities from letting Ukrainian businesses “follow the Russian ship”.
