Meeting with the Ambassador of Iraq to Ukraine

Today in Kyiv, a meeting was held with the Ambassador of Iraq to Ukraine, Mr. Taan Hussein Abbas Hussein.

The situation in Ukraine and Iraq’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity were discussed. The Ambassador expressed Iraq’s solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in the fight against Russian aggression.

Views were also exchanged on current international issues, including the situation in Syria and Iran.

The meeting was constructive and productive. Agreement was reached on further cooperation to strengthen Ukrainian-Iraqi relations.
