Roundtable in Poltava: “Free Nation – Free Business”

Roundtable in Poltava: “Free Nation – Free Business”

On July 17, Poltava hosted a regular roundtable discussion as part of the Free Nation — Free Business initiative. The event brought together entrepreneurs, experts, economists, and public figures to discuss the key issue of whether Ukraine’s economic reset is possible.

The State of the Ukrainian Economy: Challenges and Opportunities

The Ukrainian economy today is suffocating not only from the war, but also from the long-standing legacy of the Soviet model of governance, corruption schemes, oligarchic influence, tax pressure, and regulatory confusion. At the same time, we are convinced that a free economy is possible in Ukraine.

Business is not an enemy of the state, but its only chance for recovery, growth, and development.

Keynote speakers of the event
The roundtable participants had the opportunity to hear the ideas of leading reformers and economists:

  • Yaroslav Romanchuk — economist, member of the Board of Free Nation, President of the International Institute of Freedom, one of the authors of economic reforms in Georgia, author of 12 books on economics, including the book “New West. The Ukrainian Dream”, which became the basis of our program of changes for Ukraine.
  • Vjačeslavs Dombrovskis — former Minister of Education, former Minister of Economy of Latvia, Doctor of Economics, founder of the Certus Research Center.

Demand for freedom exists

We are grateful to each participant of the meeting who shared their experience and opinions. The event proved that there is a demand in Poltava for real reforms, for movement towards an economy where people do not survive but build freely, responsibly, in a new way.

Building the economy of freedom together

Free Nation forms a community of citizens who do not wait for changes from above, but act independently, locally, from below, through cooperation, entrepreneurship, solidarity, and responsibility.

Follow our upcoming events and join the movement of those who choose freedom over dependence, development over stagnation.
